Who we are

3plan.app ("3plan", "we", "us") operates this travel planning and comparison website. We help you find travel deals and send you to partner sites to book. We take your privacy seriously.

Information we collect

We do not offer user accounts or a newsletter sign-up and do not ask for your name, postal address, or payment details. When you use the planner or AI assistant, we process the places, dates, route details, and messages you submit so we can provide the requested result.

Our hosting and service providers may process technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, request time, device/browser information, requested URL, and diagnostic logs.

Our affiliate partners (such as Travelpayouts and Amazon) may set cookies to attribute referrals when you click an offer. That information is processed by those partners under their own privacy policies; we only receive aggregated commission data.

Cookies and tracking

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand overall traffic: Vercel Web Analytics. It runs on every page but is anonymous, sets no cookies, and does not identify you.

Our affiliate partners (such as Travelpayouts and its "Drive" tool, and Amazon) may use cookies to attribute referrals so we can earn commissions when you book with a partner. This cookie-based tracking is opt-in: it loads only after you choose "Accept" in our cookie banner. If you choose "Reject", it is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Google AdSense may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons, and other identifiers to deliver, measure, and protect advertising. AdSense loads only after you accept optional technologies. In regions where required, Google also presents its certified consent message. A small amount of essential storage (your language choice and your cookie decision) is kept in your browser to make the site work; it is not used for tracking.

How we use information

We use information to provide trip-planning results, operate and secure the site, diagnose errors, understand aggregate usage, display advertising after consent, and attribute affiliate commissions. We do not sell personal information for money.

Third-party services we use

When you plan a trip on 3plan.app, the place names, dates, route details, and AI messages you submit may be sent to service providers so we can return results. Place autocomplete uses Travelpayouts and OpenStreetMap (Nominatim); weather forecasts use Open-Meteo; route maps use Google Maps; and AI features may use Google Gemini or Groq. Advertising may be provided by Google AdSense. Hosting and anonymous aggregate analytics are provided by Vercel. Map and weather data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and Open-Meteo respectively.

Each service processes the query under its own privacy policy. We do not send them your name, email, or any account data — we have none.

Sharing

When you click an external offer, you are taken to a third-party site such as Aviasales, Hotellook, Booking.com, Amazon, Discover Cars, GetYourGuide, or Airalo. Those services process your data under their own privacy policies. A link may be an affiliate link only when the relevant program is configured; we may receive referral or commission reports from active affiliate partners.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data (EU/UK GDPR) or to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale/sharing" of personal information (California CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell personal information.

Data retention & security

Planner requests are processed to return a response and are not used to create a 3plan user profile. Hosting, advertising, affiliate, and AI providers retain data according to their own policies. We keep operational logs only as long as reasonably needed for security and diagnostics and apply reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date shows the latest version.
